AS350 Pilot: (12/21/2011)

Last Frontier Air Ventures will be hiring experienced precision long line pilots for the 2012 season to start in Early March on helicopter ski contracts and move to mineral exploration contracts later in the spring thru late September. Pilots should expect to work all available duty days, with the exception of a two week break in May, and fly approximately 500 hrs over the course of the season.

Minimum requirements for hire will be 3000 hrs total time with at least two seasons of Alaska based helicopter ski experience and at least two seasons of Alaska mineral exploration drill support experience as well as a minimum of 500 hrs in AS350 type aircraft.

Mechanic: (12/21/2011)

A Full-time AS350 trained helicopter mechanic is needed with strong inspections, record keeping and writing skills.   Must have A&P license, good computer and electrical skills and at least 3 years experience on AS350 airframes.

This position will be the primary inspector of aircraft and will be responsible for the proper maintenance of all fleet records.

 

This is a full time position, primarily based at our facility in Sutton Alaska.  However, some field work may be required.  Last Frontier Air Ventures is a Non-Smoking facility.  Must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

 

We offer a generous pay scale that adjusts to the experience & qualification level of the individual. Only EXPERIENCED AS350 mechanics will be considered.

 

Must pass an alcohol & drug-screening test prior to employment. Candidate must have their own tools, transportation and laptop.  Candidate must have a valid A & P license and be willing to reside locally.  IA Inspection authorization preferred.
